A Unique Fleet
Turkish Airlines’ fleet in the real world is comprised of 329 aircraft as of November 2018, spanning 15 aircraft variants that range from the modern B777-300ER all the way back to the A300-600F. There’s no other airline fleet quite like it. As much as we would love to have all of these in Infinite Flight... we don’t. However, there is still a sizeable number of aircraft in the simulator boasting the stunning Turkish livery.
B737-700
One of the smallest aircraft Turkish operate, the B737 is extremely rare to find in Turkish colours - we operate only 1 single ‘37. Built as a direct competitor to the Airbus A319, the B737 has long been a staple of the short haul industry. Boasting high levels of comfort and safety, the B737 is a plucky but adorable narrow body.

In constant competition with Airbus Industries’ A320 for the ‘Queen of the narrow bodies’, Boeing has recently developed and launched the B737 MAX 8 as an iterative update to the original NG, boasting improved fuel efficiency, range and passenger comfort.
Turkish AIrlines have more than 100 B738s deployed on short and medium haul routes, covering the majority of continental Europe, Western Asia and Northern Africa.

Happily this aircraft is shared between the real world and Infinite Flight, meaning TVA pilots can operate routes in this aircraft to a higher level of immersion. The B739ER was developed to match the range of the outgoing B757-200, and thus emerged as a direct competitor to the Airbus Industries A321. Featuring the same CFM56-7 engines as the B737, the B739 can theoretically sit up to 220 passengers in an all-economy configuration.

Using technology unheard of at the time along with more efficient and quieter engines, the A330 soon proved itself as a highly reliable wide body longhaul airliner. With ranges up to 8350 miles with up to 335 passengers, this aircraft is a fantastic feat of aviation engineering.
